The Sun descending in the West,
The Evening Star does Shine;

The Birds are silent in the nest,
and I must seek for mine....

in heaven's high tower,

ज़िंदगी का सफ़र

ये सफ़र ज़िंदगी का यू तय कर लिया जाए,
उठाकर कोई खत पुराना पढ़ लिया जाए!!

यू तो उम्र भर मुस्कुराते रहे हम,
दरिया अश्को का आँखो मैं भर लिया!!

याद मुझे हर वक़्त तेरी ही आई,
जब कभी मैं उधर निगाह उठाई!!

ख़ौफ़ मुझे मौत का ज़रा सा भी नही,
ज़िंदगी मैं ये "राज" कई दफ़ा मर लिया!!!!
